The crayons give very vibrant colors and are fabulous from an artiistic point of view. However, they are very messy from a mom's point of view. The crayons stain carpet and clothing even though they are water soluable. The crayons get all over my 2 yr. old son's fingers, the easel and the plastic tube holding the crayons every time we use them. Supervision suggested. With that said, these are still my son's favorite crayons.
